Have a Fantastic Quinceañero Party, without the expense!

There are many things you can do to have a Quinceañero party without breaking the bank.
Below, you will find some tips and suggestions:

Dress: First, you need to think about what you will wear. Although, it's a smaller event, you have to look picture perfect on your day. Decide what type of dress you want. Either the traditional ballroom gown many quinceañeras wear or you can wear a dress that is simple yet elegant.

Tiara: Choose a tiara that will complement your dress. Many styles are available such as tiaras with the #15, or with floral designs. Tiaras also come in a wide array of colors.

Invitations: Think about how many people will attend the quinceañero. There are many new invitation designs that are informal, fun and would be great for a home or small party. Invitations generally take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

Decoration/Theme: Choose 1 or 2 colors that will become your theme colors. Look for possible ways to decorate your house or location with your theme colors. This will help create the perfect atmosphere for your party. Customize and choose decorations that are meaningful to you.

For example, if you like butterflies then try to add a little detail with butterflies.

Souveniers are a great way to add decor to your party and it's also a gift for your guest, thanking them for attending your quinceañero.

Rental items help decorate your home: at Sonia's Bridal we have several rental items available that will help transform any area into a festive place.

Chair rentals
- helps designate the Quinceañera's seating area. It's also a great place to take pictures.

Flower stand rentals can be placed in different locations, often times they help dress up the cake table.

Traditions: The changing of the shoes, the tiara, the first dance, the vals, and many more traditions can be celebrated at a small quinceañero party. You may want to skip the traditional court of 14 guys and 14 girls. Instead, you can opt for having a little quinceañera. The little quinceañera will resemble and dress similar to the Quinceañera forming part of the court. Another solution is to have a "Dama Preferida" (Maid of Honor). This person can assist you in planning the Quinceañero and help put the finishing touches in place.

Traditions are meant to be altered, don't be afraid to put a spin on tradition, or to customize your party to your preference.

I hope these suggestions can help you make your Quinceanero a fantastic, enjoyable and unforgettable day.
